Thank God, then, if you have been led by a rough road: it is this which has given you your experience of God’s greatness and lovingkindness. so bright
so bright as to be blinded by: this sitting and reflecting, perhaps more art form than habit, is quite the fruitful undertaking; though i so often take it for granted and forget to do it. but i need something to help those mechanical gears of heart and soul to work their lines out, something more than just giving process her due. in the sitting comes shining a sensing, a knowing, of things unsaid, undone, unnoticed. this catching up, recovering, redeeming is effected, instilled, discovered. a light so bright as to be blinding, while necessarily altogether blissful, helps me see.
Bliss is this: to be cared for, to care for others, and to do more of the latter than the former.
